It’s a type of pastry use to make base of quiche, tarts and pies.it does not puff during baking. This recipe is used best for savoury tarts or pies.

INGRIDEINTS

  1. Refined flour – 100 grams
  2. Butter – 50 grams
  3. Sugar – 3 grams
  4. Salt – 3 grams
  5. Eggs – 33 grams
  6. Water – 10 grams

PROCEDURE

  1. Sift flour, sugar and salt toghther.
  2. Cut butter into small cubes. Rub it into the flour,using fingertips, until the mixture look like fine bread crumb.
  3. Mix the eggs and water to flour . to form a soft dough.
  4. Now line your tart moulds. Dork it .
  5. And bake at 160 degrees Celsius for 10 – 15 mins.
